Working with government organisations

Bathymetric data and survey activities are dispersed across many countries and organizations, including governmental agencies, industry, academia and research organizations.

Governments can support the project by:

• working to release data held in archives at an appropriate resolution
• working with industry partners to facilitate the release of licensed data
• fully supporting ocean mapping both within EEZs and in areas beyond national jurisdiction
• seeking opportunities to get involved in CSB/citizen science, unilaterally or in coalition
• taking part in/identifying ocean frontier mapping opportunities
